淺談澳門綠色旅遊：現狀與發展對策

Drawing upon the Second Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Macao Special Administrative Region (2021–2025) and China’s national “14th Five-Year Plan”, this article examines the current state, challenges, and strategic responses concerning the development of green tourism in Macao. The study highlights that Macao possesses abundant natural, man-made, and cultural resources and has made notable progress in infrastructure, such as the launch of the light rail system, the promotion of electric vehicles, and the green transformation of the hospitality sector. However, the environmental pressure exerted by outdated facilities, disparities in tourists’ environmental awareness, and insufficient tourism carrying capacity remain major obstacles to advancing green tourism. From environmental, social, and policy perspectives, the paper proposes several recommendations: developing eco-cultural hiking routes, promoting shared transport and cross-regional electricity cooperation, and introducing smart tourism systems alongside electronic reward mechanisms to enhance public participation and foster green consumption habits. Furthermore, it advocates for improving tourism capacity management policies to mitigate the risk of “overtourism” and actively responding to the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area’s initiatives on electricity sharing and collaborative green innovation, thereby strengthening cross-regional cooperation.
