海上絲銀之路貿易中的爛板銀元及對中國貨幣金融的影響

During the process of the development of Chinese silver dollars, it was foreign dollars that first circulated in China. Due to factors including credit and financial intermediary fees, Chinese market started to stamp the silver dollars and when the number of stamps greatly increased, the silver dollars then became Lanban silver dollars. The emergence of Lanban silver dollars highlights the relationship between government and its (private) market, their mutual competition as well as the regular development of currency. This is of high significance to finance and numismatics in the development of China’s currency and finance.
