移動互聯網時代，新媒體尤其是社交媒體在全球社會與政治領域正發揮着越加強大的作用，本研究即意在探討2017年9月舉行的澳門立法會選舉中新媒體所發揮的作用。結合傳媒與網絡資訊、網絡數據挖掘以及隨機抽樣電話調查數據，我們發現，雖然長期以來，澳門傳統社團的影響力和內部維繫的效力很大程度上決定了參選人的成敗，但隨着互聯網滲透率的進一步提高，年輕人及非建制派年輕議員將挾新媒體的影響力在立法會異軍突起。長期而言，無論是建制派還是非建制派，學會和善用新媒體將是立法會競爭中不可忽視的生存之道。
In the mobile internet era, new media, especially social media have been playing a more and more important role in social and political spheres worldwide. This study intends to explore the impact new media had on the Legislative Election of Macao in September 2017. Considering the media and internet information, web data mining as well as the data from random sample of telephone surveys, we found that despite all of these to a large extent the success or failure of candidates is determined by the influence of traditional social communities and Macao organizations and the effectiveness of their internal maintenance. With Macao’s increasing internet penetration rate, the younger generation or members of non-establishment camps will rise as a new force in the Legislative Election with the assistance of the impacts of new media. In the long term, the effective utilization of new media, especially social media, will help both establishment and non-establishment camps to survive in the competition for the Legislative Assembly. |
