澳門高等教育的現狀、挑戰與對策

Macao higher education has made great progress in the past 40 years. Higher education in Macao has developed a parallel public and private organization system, which are held in comprehensive university and a single-disciplinary university. A coexisting discipline structure, a governance method compatible with management elements of eastern and western universities, a docking industry of small and exquisite characteristics of subjects, higher education embodies the unique cultural characteristics and system advantages of Macao. Of course, in the new pattern and requirements of the strategic planning of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, higher education in Macao is facing new problems and challenges. The future development strategy of higher education in Macao is based on three factors: the first is the adjustment and renewal of the industrial structure of Macao; the second is the continuous impact of the layout of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Strategy (a Guangdong-Macao indepth cooperation zone in Hengqin); the third is the future positioning of Macao higher education in the integration and development of higher education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
