澳門青年前往橫琴粵澳深度合作區的就業意願研究

The willingness of Macao youths to engage in cross-border employment, has a great impact on their behavior in finding jobs in the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin. This paper employs the data from a survey conducted in Macao and uses the Logistic Regression Model to analyze it. It finds that resident status and understanding of the zone have a significant impact on the employment intention of Macao youths for cross-border employment in the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin. Meanwhile, most of Macao’s young workers expect to have at least the same salary when working in the cooperation zone as they do in Macao. Accordingly, this paper gives some suggestions to improve policy design.
