從歷史編年到多學科並舉──以區域研究視角回顧澳門研究的三十年發展

This paper takes the perspective of the regional studies to evaluate the development of Macau studies in the past three decades. Aside from the literature review, this study also adopts the quantitative approach to understand the trend of Macau studies. Data from the Macau Foundation Macau Virtual Library Database, Journal of Macau Studies, the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) and the “Web of Science Internet Citation Index” are used to analyze the development of Macau studies. It is found that looking at Macau studies from the concept of regional research, research on Macau was developed from a single perspective that bears chronicle narrative to multidisciplinary development. Macau is regarded as a “physical area” and also “Economic area”, “social area” or “cultural area” when researches conclude the experience of Macau and its universal value.
