本文研究澳門旅遊形象在官方宣傳材料中的建構,以澳門的三個標誌性旅遊事 件為案例,採用語料庫輔助的多模態方法來檢視政府新聞稿和宣傳影片的話語結構,以語 言學的視角來分析官方在旅遊項目宣傳材料中對澳門旅遊形象的建構。本文重點關注文字 和視覺資源之間的相互作用及它們對建構旅遊形象的作用,分析顯示官方旅遊宣傳材料透 過不同類別的宣傳材料及兩者間的相互作用,把澳門從一個人所共知的博彩城市,建構成 為一個充滿愛、歡樂和節日的歷史文化名城。
This paper investigates the construction of Macao’s tourism image in official promoting materials. With a case study of three signature events of the city, the paper draws on the corpus-assisted multimodal approach to examine the discourse construction of the official news releases and the promotional videos, so as to analyse the construction of Macao’s tourism image in the official promotional materials from a linguistic perspective. This paper focuses on the interplay between textual and visual resources and how they function in tourism image construction. The findings show that with verbal and visual realisation, Macao is transformed from a gaming city into a historical and cultural city with love, joy, and festivals. |
