Abstract
1952年中國大陸實施統一高考制度,與此同時香港爆發了“抗考”運動,中央人民政府華僑事務委員會立即主持召開了關於處理香港澳門回國學生問題的座談會,決定港澳學生回廣州升學原則上由廣東文教廳負責統一處理。中南軍政委員會呈報全國高等學校招生委員會批准,同意在廣州先後舉行兩次港澳學生回廣州升學考試。港澳學生回國升學委員會克服思想準備不足、招生計劃不明、組織機構不全、師資水平不高、校舍住宿緊缺等多種困難。歷史與實踐表明中國大陸實行港澳學生回廣州升學,這不僅是中國特色的高校招生制度的有益嘗試,更是新中國推行文化中國認同的智慧創舉。

Abstract: In 1952, the mainland adopted a unified college entrance examination system. At the same time, the “anti-test” movement broke out in Hong Kong. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee of the Central People’s Government immediately hosted a symposium on handling the return of students from Hong Kong and Macau, and decided that Hong Kong and Macau students should return to Guangzhou in principle. The Guangdong Culture and Education Department was responsible for unified handling. The Central South Military and Political Committee submitted a report to the National Higher Education Admissions Committee and agreed to hold two Hong Kong and Macau students back in Guangzhou for the entrance examination. The Hong Kong and Macau Students’ Returning to China Council overcame the lack of mental preparation, the unclear enrollment plan, an incomplete organization, the low level of teachers, a lack of school accommodation, and external forces interfering. History and practice show that the implementation of Hong Kong and Macau students returning to Guangzhou in mainland China is not only a useful attempt by the university’s enrollment system with Chinese characteristics, but also a pioneering wisdom of the Chinese Communist Party to promote cultural identity./td>
