葡萄牙學界對回歸以來澳門政經發展研究之評述

Since Macao’s return to the Motherland, Portuguese academics have conducted in-depth analysis on Macao from multiple angles and levels, and have achieved fruitful academic achievements, providing an international perspective and ideas for domestic research on Macao. In general, Portuguese scholars follow with interest the topical research on Sino-Portuguese relations, the “One Country, Two Systems” policy, and the The Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (known as “Forum Macao”), showing that from scattered to special, vertical to horizontal, and domestic to global perspective research characteristics. However, Portuguese scholars still focus on descriptive research, the research method is relatively simple, the number of achievements is relatively insufficient, and the theoretical system needs to be strengthened. Summarizing and commenting on the views and progress of the Portuguese academics on the political and economic research of Macao after the handover can not only provide an important reference for the future development path of Macao, but also create a broader academic exchange space for this regional studies to become global, but some of these views still need to be critically examined after fully understanding the policies of the Macao government.
