粵港澳大灣區高等教育與人口、經濟社會協調發展研究

Based on the requirement of economy development and the change of school-age population of higher education, the paper analyzes and forecasts the development condition of regular higher education scale, and draws some countermeasures. It is founded that the population proportion of secondary industry and tertiary industry influences positively the scale of higher education’s enrollment, the school–age population of higher education will decrease steadily in the next ten years in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On this basis and combining the changes of higher education’s scale over the years in GuangdongHong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the development objective put forward by “long-term educational reform and development programming in Guangdong province from 2010 to 2020”, the paper predicts that the scale of higher education will increase 2.7% year by year in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Finally, owing to the former analysis, the paper proposes the countermeasures which contains “reform of major in higher education”, “controlling the scale of higher education properly”, “making the post-graduation education bigger and stronger”.
