Abstract
教育史是歷史學門的一支,教育學的四大基礎理論之一,澳門教育史研究興於21世紀初,由澳門大學教育學院首倡,但在研究華人教育時仍感資料不足。本文引介三種史料:《中國教育年鑑》,國府1949年以前教育類“國家檔案"(學校及校董會立案檔),及西方新教差會文獻,冀有助後續澳門教育史研究。

The aim of this article is to explore the useful first-hand sources for the study of the history of modern Macau education. The history of education is a sub-discipline of History, and also a branch of the social foundations of education or educational foundation disciplines. The study of the history of Macau education commenced from the beginning of this century initiated by the Faculty of Education, the University of Macau. However, lack of sufficient first-hand sources is still one of the main obstacles for studying Chinese education in Macau. Three kinds of sources were introduced, which may be helpful for the study in the future. Firstly, the China Educational Year Book published by the Ministry of Education KMT government. Secondly, national archives. There are twenty-three volumes of national archives on education stored by National Archives Administration relating to Chinese schools in Macau 1937-1949. Thirdly, Journals and books published by western protestant missions, such as The Chinese Repository and the Missionary Herald.
