Service industry is the main industry of Macao’s economy, which occupies an extremely important position in Macao’s economic structure. Gambling tourism, construction real estate industry and financial services industry are the three pillar industries of Macao’s economy. At present, the development of Macao’s service industry is facing numerous opportunities under the strategic background of the implementation of The Development Plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The analysis of the correlation degree of the service industry is helpful to correctly grasp the degree of correlation between different industries and formulate scientific industrial policies. Based on the description of the development status of the service industry, the grey correlation analysis method is applied to evaluate the industrial relevancy of the service industry. The results show that the correlation effect of the service industry is obvious and the industrial correlation is different. In view of the problems existing in the development of the service industry, corresponding policies should be formulated to promote the diversified development of Macao’s service industry.
