By analyzing the development status of the non-gambling transactions in six Macau gambling companies, the paper compares the gap between Macau and Las Vegas, investigating the reason behind it and concludes that the main reason lies with the limitation of resources. Employing the theory of total customer value, theory of property space efficiency, meeting customer’s needs for one-stop consumption, and the theory of residents’ adaption to gambling consumption in the future, the author demonstrates the necessity of the diversified non-gambling transactions in gambling companies. Nevertheless, its development should not take Les Vegas as standard for their differences in land resources and targeted customers. The diversified development of Macau’s gambling companies should progress gradually on the basis of its market and then the diversified program is likely to be a program of the new profit center.
