澳門二十世紀軍事碉堡初步研究

Macao has a series of western-style forts built in the 17th to 19th centuries, some of which constitute the Historic Center of Macao and are listed on the World Heritage List. However, a series of 20th century military pillboxes still remain in the hills of Macao. Except for some of the pillbox located on the Macao Peninsula, which have been rediscovered and recorded, the rest have been forgotten and neglected. This article is part of the results of a systematic investigation of these sites. Among them, for the first time, the existence and condition of the pillboxes scattered in Penha and Barra hills, Taipa and Coloane hills were disclosed. To a certain extent, it fills the gap in the study of Macao’s 20th century military architecture, which is conducive to the development of military heritage protection.
