The study found that Macau, Singapore and Germany have similarities and differences in foreign employment policy. Singapore and Germany have more clear purposes on the design of foreign employment policy. And Singapore’s foreign employment policy also shows a very strong flexibility, so that the labor market can be quickly adjusted. Comparing to these two countries, the formulation and implementation of foreign employment policy in Macau haven’t show a clear objective, and measures that the Government have taken to prevent foreign employment from damaging the interests of local workers could be improved.
