在英國東印度公司檔案中發現了一種清代中期在澳門印行的特殊金融憑證“銀單”，與處理遠程貿易的匯票不同，具備了短途小額金融現金支票的基本要素，適應了澳省貿易的客觀環境，影響了貨幣流通的發展變化，促進了澳省金融領域的深入研究。
During 1757 to 1842, most of the foreign trades into China was confined to Canton. It is of great significance to carry out this research on clearing, especially those related to the “Thirteen Hongs”. The newly-discovered financial documents in Britain, which were the beginning of cash checks, were not only geared to the business environment of Canton and Macao, but also born on the financial markets. |
