《澳門研究》與澳門學術發展

As an academic journal jointly edited and published by the Macau Foundation and the Centre for Macau Studies of the University of Macau, Journal of Macau Studies, since it was founded in 1988, has published a great amount of research on humanities and social science such as Macau history studies, Macau’s economic issues studies, Macau’s political issues studies, and Macau’s legal issues studies. Not only does this research show the development process and significant improvement from one side before and after the return of Macau to China, but it also indicates the important functions which the Macau Foundation and the Centre for Macau Studies of the University of Macau have performed, particularly with regard to establishing Macau’s humanities and social science system, broadening Macau’s internationally academic perspective, and shaping Macau’s academic style and characteristics.
