The University of Macau held the “Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2025” on November 26, 2025, to honor 430 outstanding students with scholarships and academic awards. Among these were the “ Macau Tung Sin Tong Scholarship” and the “Macau Buddhism Foundation Scholarship”, promoted by the CMS and supported by the Macau Tong Sin Tong and the Macau Buddhist Foundation. The scholarship recipients for the 2024/2025 academic year, including PhD and Master’s students, were selected through various application and review processes. Representatives from the relevant organizations and the awardwinning students attended the ceremony.
“Macau Tung Sin Tong Scholarship” is to support research on the history of philanthropy and social service development in Macao with the aim of promoting a continued tradition of philanthropy with Chinese culture and values in future generations. The awardees are: Wen Yuying, Lam Hio Man and Chan Chong.
“Macau Buddhism Foundation Scholarship” is to promote relevant research and deepen society’s understanding of the historical development of religion and the unique culture of Macau. The awardees are: Li Xinyao, Qian Xingwang, Mu Fangmeng, Lin Panxinrong, Tian Yifan, and Wu Yize.
