柯麟是澳門鏡湖醫院首任院長，被澳門市民譽為“活菩薩柯醫生”。他懸壺濟民，善澤濠鏡，從一位寂寂無名的診所醫生，成長為澳門鏡湖醫院首任院長和享譽澳門的一代名醫，同時潛伏澳門近17載，完成中共地下工作使命。1951年擔任廣州中山醫學院創院院長，將該院發展為華南醫學界最璀璨的明珠。他為澳門的醫療衛生、社會福利事業乃至新中國的醫學教育事業作出了重要貢獻。
Dr. Ke Lin, the first President of Kiang Wu Hospital, was called by the local people in Macao as “Doctor Ke the Living Buddha”. He devoted all his life to treating patients with his expertise, kindness, and generosity, and was known as a renowned and respectable doctor in Macao. Working in Macao for nearly 17 years in the name of doctor, he accomplished many great missions for the Chinese Communist Party. In 1951, Doctor Ke Lin was appointed as the founding President of Sun Yat-sen Medical College and under his strong leadership, he developed it as a shining star in South China. Doctor Ke Lin made great contributions to the healthcare and social welfare in Macao as well as the medical education in People’s Republic of China. |
