在構成澳門的三個島嶼中，澳門之中外本名已明晰，路環也無問題，可“Taipa”這個名字的起源仍為一段迷津。本文擬以大量的中西文字及圖籍資料為基礎，對這一地名進行一番比較深入的探索，以期得到一個新的認知。在漢語文獻的支持下，首次提出了“Taipa”可能是“大陂”的諧音的新觀點。
Among the three islands that make up Macao, the Chinese and Portuguese names of Macao are clear, and there is no problem with Coloane, but the origin of the name “Taipa” is still a maze. We plan to conduct a more in-depth exploration of this place name on the basis of a large number of Chinese and Western texts and maps, in order to obtain a new understanding. With the support of Chinese literature, we put forward for the first time a new view that “Taipa” may be a homonym for “Dabei/Dapi”. |
