The 7th Legislative Assembly Election of the Macao SAR will be held on 12 September 2021. For two consecutive editions (2013 and 2017), the Journal of Macau Studies has published a special section on the “Analysis of the Legislative Assembly Election” to examine and analyse the election and its impact. The Journal of Macau Studies will continue to publish a section on this issue and invite Prof SHENG Li, Associate Dean (Academic Affairs) of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Macau to be the contributing editor.
